Know this is A fishing boat! Check out the helicptor on top for spotting fish. There is 5 or 6 of them here with there own dock and warehouse for offloading fish. Old Mazatlan harbor.

Nice place to have lunch. Mazatlan

Down town at one of the squares in Mazatlan

Blue footed booby. Isla Isabela

Cyclades at ancor. Isla Isabela. Great snorkeling. We had fresh fish every day we were there.

This is the island of Isla Isabela that lies about 42 miles off the coast from san Blas. It is a bird sanctuary that both National Geographic and Jacques Cousteau did television specials on.

There were thousands of these bat rays for about 10 miles off Chacala heading to San Blas

It was such a kewl tree, hanging on this cliff that I thought I would share it with you.

I could live here.

Jaltemba

Dave & Matt having fun

Thursday, April 26, 2007

Deborah and Terry (from the sailing vessel Niki Wiki) hang out in front of the church in Cihuatlan.

Deborah enjoys her "bag-o-beverage" while waiting for the chicken bus from Barra de Navidad to Cihuatlan. Forget the plastic cups - this is how street vendors sell drinks here in Mexico - a plastic bag and a straw.

We left Barra de Navidad on Tuesday and went over to Melaque for a couple of days. We are now sailing north up the coast of Mexico.
